What is a Giclee Print?

About Giclee Prints

Pronouced (zhee-klay) Giclee printing provides better color accuracy than any other means of reproduction.  Images are generated from high resolution digitals scans and printed with archival quality, pigment inks onto fine-art papers or canvas.  The quality of a giclee print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries and photographic galleries.

The images on computer monitors can vary and it is difficult to see nuances, colors and details in the ones you see here.  I have much difficulty distinguishing between my giclee prints and my watercolor originals.  They are printed at a Giclee Print Studio in Hampton, Virginia and I would recommend them to anyone.  Their calibration system and attention to detail is incredible and they use very high resolution in the scanners and printers, beautiful, soft, smooth watercolor paper and archival inks.

I look to expand the number of collectors that I have.  I want all my clients and customers to refer me to all their friends and family members.  I can only expect return customers if you are absolutely satisfied with your work of art.  If you are not thrilled with your purchase, you may return within 7 days for a complete refund.

My hope is that my paintings become family heirlooms.
